Work Experience

July 2016 – Present

Responsibilities

  • Full time nanny for 1½ and 3½ year old (at start date) girls
  • Prepare and serve healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
  • Plan age appropriate outings and activities (Trips to indoor play spaces, parks, crafts, sensory activities, etc.)
  • Child related chores (dishes, toy pick-up, kid laundry, etc.)
  • In charge of bathing girls and clipping nails throughout the week
  • Help with potty training
  • Administer medicine as directed by physician when girls are sick
  • Keep record of hours and mileage for pay and tax purposes

 

July 2015 – July 2016

Responsibilities

  • Full time nanny for 6 year old and 4 month old (at start date) girls
  • Help older girl get ready for school
  • Serve breakfast for both girls
  • Pack lunch for older girl
  • Supervise play/learning time for baby
  • Plan age appropriate outings and activities (Trips to indoor play spaces, parks, etc.)
  • Assist mom in developing appropriate nap routine for baby
  • Household and child related chores (Dishes, make beds, laundry, trash, meal clean up, mop floor, tidy kids’ toys, sanitize toys weekly, file baby’s nails)
  • Serve baby’s lunch (thawed breast milk for bottles through 13 months old)
  • School pick up for older girl
  • Serve afternoon snacks
  • Supervise piano practice
  • Serve baby’s dinner 2-3 times each week
  • Keep detailed log of baby’s daily schedule and development
  • Keep record of hours and mileage for pay and tax purposes

 

September 2013 – 2015  

Responsibilities (Nanny share between three families – 3rd family added fall 2014)

  • Full time nanny for 1½, 2½, 3½, 5½ and 8 year old boys
  • School drop offs for older boys
  • Meal preparation
  • Organize/supervise toddler activities, after school activities and crafts
  • Plan age appropriate outings and activities (Trips to indoor play spaces, parks, etc.)
  • Child related chores (dishes, toy pick-up, etc.)
  • Help with potty training 2.5 year old

 

June  2014 – August 2014

Responsibilities

  • Full time summer nanny for 2 year old girl
  • Make breakfast and lunch
  • Occasionally drive teenage sons to activities
  • Organize/supervise toddler activities
  • Plan age appropriate outings and activities (Trips to beach, parks, etc.)
  • Child related chores (dishes, toy pick-up, etc.)
  • Laundry for entire family (including 3 teenage sons)

 

September 2013 – June 2015

Responsibilities (Nanny share between two families)

  • Full time nanny for infant, 3 year old boy and occasionally 7 year old boy
  • Drive oldest boy to school 3 days/week
  • Meal preparation
  • Organize/supervise toddler activities and crafts
  • Plan age appropriate outings and activities (Trips to indoor play spaces, parks, etc.)
  • Child related chores (dishes, toy pick-up, etc.)
  • Help with potty training 3 year old

 

June 2013 – September 3, 2013

  • Full time summer nanny for 8 year old boy and 6 year old girl
  • Make breakfast
  • Supervise chores
  • Supervise summer school work
  • Make lunch
  • Drive to various summer activities and camps
  • Coordinate, drive to and supervise fun summer activities (zoo, pool, park, etc.)
  • Make dinner on occasion

 

September 2012 – May 2013  

Responsibilities:

  • After-school nanny for 8 year old girl (3 days a week)
  • Pick up from bus stop
  • Make after school snack
  • Supervise homework
  • Supervise chores
  • Drive to and from sports practice
  • Make dinner on occasion
  • Come up with fun, playtime activities

 

May 2011 – December 2011

Responsibilities:

  • Part time nanny for 9 month old (in May) triplets
  • Make homemade baby food
  • Light house cleaning
  • Change, bathe and put them down for naps
  • Light Laundry
  • Supervise play time (toys/books)
  • Accompany babies with mother to doctor appointments
  • Participate in motor specialist appointments with 1 child

 

Prior to becoming a nanny I babysat frequently and was heavily involved with the children’s department at church. I volunteered in the pre-school department and was paid to work in the nursery.

 

Qualifications

Current Driver’s License (clean record)

First Aid/CPR/AED certified

Over 10 years of experience working with children

Non smoker

Comfortable with pets
